Chinese delegation visits Babel to study investment opportunities

BABEL / IraqiNews.com: A Chinese delegation visited the Babel investment commission to get abreast of opportunities in the different fields, including the construction of a large compound, to display samples of Chinese products in the province, the commission chief said on Saturday. “The compound project should be an added value to the province and in the same time ease burdens off businessmen in the province as to import quality products,” Alaa Harba told IraqiNews.com news agency. He noted that another round of talks will be held with the Chinese delegation this month to conduct field scanning on locations and offer the necessary studies and designs to the commission. “This investment license would help offer jobs, optimize human resources, transfer technology and enhance competitiveness to push ahead Iraq’s balance of payment,” said Harba.
