Airstrike kills 4 IS members, destroys anti-aircraft weapon near Ramadi
Anbar (IraqiNews.com) A local source in Anbar Province revealed that four members of the Islamic State were killed in an air strike that was targeting an anti-aircraft weapon, west of Ramadi, Alsumaria News reported on Thursday.
According to the source, the international coalition air force bombarded, at noon today, a vehicle belonging to the Islamic State carrying an anti-aircraft weapon in al-Jamiyah area, in Central Qaim (350 km west of Ramadi.
The air strike destroyed the vehicle and weapon completely, as well as killing four members of the Islamic State, the source added.
The US-led international coalition is conducting several air strikes on headquarters, hideouts and strongholds belonging to the Islamic State in Syria and Iraq for more than two years now.
