Cornerstone laid for municipality building in Wassit

WASSIT / IraqiNews.com: The governor of Wassit on Sunday laid the cornerstone for an ID50-million local municipality building in Kut in the presence of local officials, according to an informed source. “The project is part of an investment plan by the Ministry of Municipalities and Public Works,” the media director in the province, Majid al-Itabi, told IraqiNews.com news agency. The four-story building will be sited on an area of 3,000 square meters. It is expected to be completed within 540 days, Itabi noted.
