Basra businessmen tackle mechanisms to develop private sector

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: The head of Basra’s provincial council on Sunday met with local businessmen to discuss mechanisms for developing the private sector in the province, according to the council’s head. “A meeting has taken place with a delegation from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Basra to discuss the potential mechanisms by which the private sector can restore its role in the building and construction process,” Jabbar Amin told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The private sector can play a vital role in attracting investors to the province…,” Amin added.
