2 gangs arrested in Karbala

KARBALA / IraqiNews.com: Security agencies arrested two burglary and motorbike theft gangs in two different areas of Karbala on Friday, according to the province’s police information department chief. “The first gang, composed of three members local residents of Karbala, was arrested on charges of stealing motorbikes from citizens’ houses in the city, while the second gang, composed of two persons, was caught red handed trying to break and enter into citizens’ houses in two different neighborhoods in southern Karbala,” Maj. Alaa Abbas told IraqiNews.com news agency. “All five members of the two gangs have confessed to their crimes and will be referred to court,” he added.
