Suspected al-Qaeda gunman busted in Karbala

KARBALA / IraqiNews.com: Security forces arrested on Wednesday a suspected al-Qaeda gunman in northern Karbala, the police department’s media director said. “Acting on a tip-off, security forces managed to arrest Mahdi John Muslim, suspected al-Qaeda member, in Imam Oun region, north of Karbala, Major Alla Abbas told IraqiNews.com news agency. “He is wanted for implementing several crimes in Karbala and neighboring cities,” he added.
