3 wanted men, suspects nabbed in Kirkuk

KIRKUK / IraqiNews.com: Joint security forces on Monday arrested three wanted persons and suspects during a security raid in southwestern Kirkuk, according to an informed source. “At 03:00 a.m. today, a joint force from the local police, the criminal investigations and national investigations departments, the Iraqi army, and the Multi-National Force (MNF) raided the villages of Yarghoon al-Kabeer and Yarghoon al-Sagheer, al-Riyad district (45 km southwest of Kirkuk),” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Three wanted men and suspects were arrested during the operation,” the source pointed out. Kirkuk, an oil-rich and mixed city of Kurds, Turkmen, Christians and Arabs, lies 250 km northeast of the Iraqi capital Baghdad. SS (P) 1
