Iraqi Parliament to discuss Sinjar security without Kurdish MPs
Erbil (BasNews) Iraqi House of Representatives is set to discuss the security of the Kurdish Yezidi populated town of Sinjar on Monday while the Kurdish lawmakers have all boycotted the session.
Parliament Speaker Salim al-Jobouri has said the session will be held at the presence of 178 lawmakers and this meets the legal quota for the convention.
Due to a ruling by Iraqi House of Representatives on Saturday over taking down Kurdistan flag from the governmental institutions in the disputed Kurdish city of Kirkuk, the Kurdish factions have all boycotted the parliament sessions.
