3 wanted men nabbed in Kirkuk

KIRKUK / IraqiNews.com: A joint Iraqi force has arrested three wanted persons in a village in southern Kirkuk province, a local security source said on Wednesday. “During a late hour on Tuesday (Nov. 3) night, a joint force from the Iraqi police and army nabbed three wanted persons in al-Marra village, al-Riyad district (45 km southwest of Kirkuk City),” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Those arrested have been handed over to al-Riyad police station,” the source pointed out, providing no further details. Kirkuk, an oil-rich and mixed city of Kurds, Turkmen, Christians and Arabs, lies 250 km northeast of the Iraqi capital Baghdad. SS (P)/SR 1
