Joint force arrests 3 wanted men near Kirkuk

KIRKUK / IraqiNews.com: A local police director on Thursday said that a joint force had arrested three wanted persons in villages near Kirkuk. “On Thursday, joint forces from the local police, the Criminal Investigations Department, the National Investigations Division, the Iraqi army and the Multi-National Force (MNF) launched a search raid in the villages of Awaj, Salmani, Mansiya, Haml and Asfar in al-Rashad district (35 km southwest of Kirkuk),” Brig. Sarhad Qadir told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Three wanted men were nabbed and four mortar shells were seized during the raids,” the source added.
