Interior Ministry to build up FPS in Ninewa

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi Ministry of Interior has agreed to increase the number of Facilities Protection Service (FPS) personnel in Ninewa province, an informed source said on Sunday. “The province suffers from insufficient protection,” Col. Hilal Othman told IraqiNews.com news agency. The colonel indicated that he had checked many facilities protected by the FPS in Sinjar (120 km northwest of Mosul), al-Biaaj (130 km west of Mosul) and Talaafar (60 km northwest of Mosul) and met with local officials there.
