Tight security measures around government’s building in Talafar

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Security forces have tightened their measures around the government’s buildings in Talafar, a security source said on Tuesday. “Iraqi security forces have tightened their security measures since this morning (Nov. 3) around the Talafar’s citadel, where most of the government’s buildings are located,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The measures have been adopted after receiving intelligence information on possible suicide attacks against the government’s buildings in Talafar ,” he added. He urged citizens and local officials to cooperate with the forces. Talafar is 60 km northwest of Mosul, the capital of Ninewa, which lies 405 km north of Baghdad. SH (P)/SR 1
