Bomb kills child, wounds 5 civilians in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: One child on Sunday was killed and five civilians were injured in an explosive charge blast in Mosul, according to a local security source. “Today, a 12-year-old child was killed after playing with an improvised explosive device (IED) in Somar neighborhood, eastern Mosul,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Five other civilians were injured in the blast,” the source pointed out, adding that the blast did not target military personnel.
