Soldiers wounded in clashes with gunmen

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Two Iraqi servicemen on Saturday were injured during clashes with gunmen in Ninewa’s Mosul, according to a local security source. “This evening, two soldiers were wounded when their patrol was ambushed by gunmen at al-Maash market, western Mosul,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. An exchange of gunfire has left casualties among the Iraqi soldiers, the source pointed out, adding that the gunmen have managed to escape.
