Deputy PM meets UNHCR envoy

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Deputy Prime Minister Rafie al-Issawi on Sunday met with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) representative in Iraq, Daniel Endres, to discuss issues related to Iraqi refugees and displaced persons, according to a cabinet statement. “The meeting tackled integrated efforts to create a favorable atmosphere for Iraqi refugees willing to return home and to provide material and moral support for them,” read the statement that was received by IraqiNews.com news agency.
