82 MPs send request to Turkish government to cancel decision regarding troop invasion

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Independent MP Safiya Suheil said on Thursday that she presented a request signed by 82 lawmakers from different political blocs to the Parliament’s speaker, demanding the government take all necessary steps regarding the Turkish parliament’s decision  to authorize their troops to invade Iraq at anytime. “I presented the request to the parliament’s speaker before his meeting with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan,” Suheil told IraqiNews.com news agency. “We presented this request as we believe this is a clear violation of Iraq’s sovereignty,” she added.
