38 swine flu cases in Wassit – MP

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: There are 31 H1N1 (swine) flu cases at al-Hay suburb of Wassit province, a member of the Iraqi parliament’s health committee said on Tuesday, expecting an increase in this number on coming days. “Infections among Iraqis reached 66,” Lawmaker Bacim Shareef told IraqiNews.com news agency. He said that giving a one-week vacation to schools in al-Hay is a correct precautionary measure. Kut, the capital city of Wassit province, lies 180 km southeast of Baghdad. MH (P)/SH 1
