Iraq’s Unity Alliance formally announced

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraq’s Unity Alliance was formally announced in Baghdad on Wednesday to enter the parliamentary elections in mid January. The new alliance includes prominent figures, including Interior Minister Jawad al-Boulani and Head of the Sahwa council in Anbar, Sheikh Ahmad Abu Riesha. The coming parliamentary elections will be held on January 16, 2010. SH (P) 1
