Baghdad bombings instigated by political desires, spites – PM

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraq’s Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki said on Monday that the armed operations and bombings in Baghdad which occurred Sunday instigated by political desires and spites, asserting that Iraq will face these acts. Al-Maliki, who attended the 7th scientific conference organized by the agriculture ministry at the Baghdad University, said “we have to achieve a lot of things as we face big challenges in the reconstruction operation. We rebuild the country and they destroy it like what happened in the attacks yesterday.” “These challenges will continue and we will face them in all fields. We have faith that Iraqis will not give up or abandon the reestablishment of their country,” he added. Baghdad witnessed two suicide car bomb explosions which target the Justice Ministry and the Baghdad provincial council in central Baghdad, where 155 people were killed and 500 were wounded.
