PUK mini-conference continues

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Second day discussions of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan mini-conference are going on, said a member of the PUK politburo. Saadi Ahmed Bera said that discussions were about party organizational issues, carrying out changes and working on strengthening the PUK. “Reports that were discussed today (Oct. 31) were approved with majority,” Bera told Aswat all-Iraq news agency. He said that the conferees agreed on supporting the government of the Iraqi Kurdistan region, their representatives in the federal parliament and the electoral platform of the Kurdistan list. “Discussions aimed at introducing changes in the party and strengthening the PUK,” he said.
