VP says relations with Iran improve despite ‘difficulties’

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraq’s Vice President, Adel Abdulmahdi, said that relations with Iran improve despite difficulties, calling for solving problems between the two countries through the right ways, a presidential statement said Friday. Speaking at a luncheon, held on Thursday (Nov. 5) to honor Speaker of Iran’s parliament, Ai Larijani, and his accompanying delegation in Baghdad, Abdulmahdi said relations with Iran improve despite difficulties, noting that the two countries have several things in common. “Iraq passed an important stage and can play an important role in the region,” Larijani said.
