Private clinics on strike in Diwaniya

DIWANIYA / IraqiNews.com: Private clinics in Dewaniya have been in a one-week strike, the province’s health director said on Saturday. “The strike came to protest clans’ pressures on physicians,” Dr. Abdilameer Lilo told IraqiNews.com news agency. He said that clans are demanding physicians to pay ransom when a patient dies. “Physicians make mistakes, and the judiciary should have its word in such cases,” Dr. Lilo said. MH (P).SR 1
