$165m medical relief center in Duhuk

DUHUK / IraqiNews.com: Kurdistan’s health minister on Thursday laid the cornerstone of the medical relief center in Duhuk with the attendance of a number of officials and a representative of the World Bank, according to a statement posted on the Kurdistan government’s Web site. “The center will be established through financial support from the Kurdistan’s government and the World Bank at a total cost of $165 million within 6 months,” said the statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “Similar centers will be established in Arbil and Sulaimaniya cities at an overall cost of $700 million,” it added.
