Culture minister, Japanese envoy take on cooperation

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi minister of culture on Wednesday met with the Japanese ambassador in the country to discuss means of enhancing cultural cooperation between the two countries. “Minister Mahir Dally al-Hadithi has provided a thorough outline of Iraq’s cultural strategy, which depends on boosting cultural relations between Iraq and other countries, particularly Japan,” an official spokesperson for the ministry, Hakim al-Shamri, told IraqiNews.com news agency.
