Preparations for workshop on water shortage complete

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: Preparations have been completed for an international workshop on the implications of water shortage in Basra province, a local official said on Thursday. “The workshop is scheduled to be held from Nov.18-19,” an adviser to Basra’s governor for agricultural affairs, Mohsen Abdulhay told IraqiNews.com news agency. The event will tackle the reasons for water shortage, water purification stations and the future of plant and animal life in the province, Abdulhay added.
