Bridge collapses, driver dies in Kut

WASSIT / IraqiNews.com: A truck driver died in Kut when a bridge under construction collapsed on his vehicle, a security source from Wassit province said on Thursday. “The driver was unloading construction materials at the construction site when the incident occurred,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. He said that police forces admitted the driver to hospital, but he died there. Kut, the capital city of Wassit province, lies 180 km southeast of Baghdad. MH (P)/SR 1
