Iran arrests 3 Iraqi servicemen for crossing borders

WASSIT / IraqiNews.com: Iran has arrested one Iraqi officer and two policemen for crossing the border illegally, a security source from Wassit province said on Saturday. “They crossed the borderline by mistake,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. He said that an Iraqi security delegation negotiated the release of the servicemen with the Iranian side. “Iranian forces refused to release them,” the source said. He did not mention further details, but said that the Iranian side has considered the three Iraqi servicemen as illegal infiltrators.
