Personal weapons removed from Wassit police

WASSIT / IraqiNews.com: The police command in Wassit has ordered its personnel to hand over their personal protection weapons in an attempt to end armed manifestations in the province. “Police officers and commissioners were excluded from the order,” a local security source told IraqiNews.com news agency.
