4 wanted men detained, 2 bombs defused in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Four wanted men were arrested and two bombs were defused in separate incidents in Mosul, a military source from the Ninewa operations command said on Wednesday. “A force from the 9th brigade of the 2nd division of the Iraqi army arrested on Wednesday (Oct.21) four wanted men in Aski Mosul region, west of Mosul,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency, noting that the force found a gun and three Kalashnikovs in their possession. “The bomb squad managed also to defuse two bombs in Mosul al-Jadieda region, western Mosul, and in al-Qahera neighborhood, northern Mosul, without leaving casualties,” the same source noted.
