Suspected high-ranking Islamist nabbed in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi security forces arrested on Wednesday in eastern Mosul two wanted men, one of them is suspected to be the health minister of the so-called Islamic State of Iraq. “The operation relied on intelligence tip offs,” a source from the Ninewa Operations Command told IraqiNews.com news agency. He did not mention where the arrests exactly took place. “Interrogations are currently underway with the two men,” he said. Mosul, the capital city of Ninewa province, lies 405 km north of Baghdad.
