21 detainees released from Ninewa jails

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Police forces released 21 detainees from Ninewa prisons on Thursday, a source from the Ninewa operations command said. “Ninewa operations command forces freed on Thursday (Oct. 22) 21 prisoners, who had been released by U.S. forces from the Bucca detention center in Basra,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The detainees were released after investigations showed that they were not involved in terrorist operations against security agencies and civilians,” he noted.
