2 bombers nabbed in Anbar

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: Two suicide bombers have been arrested in Anbar before detonating a car bomb and an explosive belt in the province, a local police source said on Saturday. “Accurate intelligence reports have foiled a suicide bombing that was meant to target innocent people…,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. Local police forces arrested two bombers who were driving a Kia-modeled vehicle rigged with explosives toward the main entrance of Kabeesa district, the source explained. One of the bombers, who was wearing an explosive belt, has tried to blow himself up close to the rescuers, the source added. Ramadi, the capital city of Anbar, lies 110 km west of Baghdad. SS (P)/SR 2
