Young man freed after 3 days in captivity in Falluja
ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: Police forces in al-Anbar province on Friday freed a young man after he was abducted for three days. “Unknown gunmen kidnapped the young person when he was standing in front of his house in central Falluja,” Col. Mahmoud al-Issawi, the city’s police director, told IraqiNews.com news agency. He said that the operation relied on intelligence tip-offs. “The abductors took the young man hostage and asked for ransom in return for his release,” Issawi said. Falluja, the largest city in the predominantly Sunni province of al-Anbar, lies 45 km west of the Iraqi capital Baghdad. MH (P)/AmR 2
