MP’s security personnel wounded in Baghdad blast
BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Three security guards working for an Iraqi parliamentarian have been wounded in an explosive charge blast in downtown Baghdad, the Iraqi police said on Monday. “A sticky improvised explosive device (IED) hit a vehicle carrying three security personnel working for MP Izzat al-Shabandar near al-Nahreen University in al-Jadiriya neighborhood, downtown Baghdad,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. The blast wounded the guards and caused damage to the vehicle, the source noted. SS (P) 2
