11 killed, 20 wounded in Baghdad explosions
BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: At least eleven civilians were killed and 20 others were wounded in the series of explosions that targeted three hotels in Baghdad, a police source said. “Three car bombs went off near Babel, al-Hamraa and Sheraton hotels, killing 11 and injuring 20 and damaging the hotels,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Policemen sealed off the regions, while ambulances rushed the wounded to nearby hospitals for treatment,” he added, giving no more details.
