Baghdad blast leaves 1 dead, 11 injured

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: One person was killed and 11 others wounded when a roadside bomb hit a civilian bus in southeastern Baghdad Friday afternoon. “The blast took place at the Mohammed al-Qassim highway in Baghdad,” a local police source told IraqiNews.com news agency. He said that all the casualties are Shiite pilgrims who were on their way back from Karbala, where they recognized a religious occasion.
