Egypt, Iraq, Jordan press for fighting all forms of terrorism
Cairo (IraqiNews.com) – Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, Jordanian King Abdullah II and Iraqi Prime Minister Adil Abdul Mahdi issued a communique at the end of their Cairo-hosted meeting, in which they agreed on the importance of fighting all forms of terrorism.
The fighting of terrorism includes funding and arming of terrorist groups, as well as sheltering of terrorists, according to the communique, a copy of which was obtained by Egypt’s State Information Service (SIS) on Sunday.
It pressed for solutions to crises facing a number of Arab countries, atop of which occupied Palestine.
The three countries reiterated support for the Palestinian people in their fight to attain their lawful rights, atop of which the right to establish their independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
The communique stressed full support for efforts to complete reconstruction in Iraq and allow the return of displaced Iraqis.
The three leaders hailed as “strong” and “historical” relations among their countries, affirming the need to further boost trilateral coordination.
