QRD finds depot in Wassit

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: A force from the Quick Response Department on Thursday found a weapons cache in north of Kut, according to the Interior Ministry. “A force from the QRD found a weapons depot hidden under the ground during a security operation in al-Suwaira district in Wassit,” said a ministry’s statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “The depot contains 12 14 missiles and 30 cannonballs,” it added. “The operation was launched in light of intelligence information,” it noted.
