19 wanted persons, suspects detained in Basra

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: Eleven wanted men and eight suspected gunmen have been arrested and two Katyusha rockets have been seized during security raids in separate areas of Basra, a police source said on Wednesday. “Policemen waged crackdown operations in separate areas of Basra, where they arrested 11 wanted men and eight suspected gunmen,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The forces found also two Katyusha rockets in Aby Sakhier region, northern Basra,” he added.
