Gang arrested in Basra

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: Police forces arrested on Thursday a robbery and a murdering gang in western Basra, a media source said. “Police forces arrested a five-person robbery and murder gang in al-Qebla region in western Basra,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The forces found the body of a young man from Hilla after the gang confessed to killing him and leaving his body in a trash container,” he added. The gang’s members are from Baghdad and headed to Basra where they left in al-Qebla region for three years. Basra is 590 km south of Baghdad. SH (P)/SR 1
