Vehicle carrying rocket launch pad seized in Basra

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: A vehicle carrying a rocket launch pad was seized in northern Basra city on Saturday, according to a local police source. “The car seized had a Katyusha launch pad and a rocket ready for firing in the direction of northern Basra,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. He said the car is most probably the one that had launched a rocket at the Basra Operations Command headquarters at Shatt al-Arab Hotel, (8 km) northern Basra, which set a military vehicle ablaze, on Friday.
