First asphalt factory in Karbala

KARBALA / IraqiNews.com: The first asphalt factory was opened on Monday in Karbala at a total cost of 9 billion Iraqi dinars ($7.7 million), chairman of the local council said. “The local government started on Monday the experimental operation of the first asphalt factory in the province,” Mohammad Hamid al-Mosawi told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The total cost of the factory, which was established in seven months, reached $7.7 million,” he added.
