Lawmaker says more strategic projects should be given to Karbala

KARBALA / IraqiNews.com: A prominent member of the State of Law Coalition has called on Iraqi ministries to implement more strategic projects in Karbala, which he described as a major investment attraction. “Karbala is a holy city and has become the focus of the eyes of the world, with millions of people converging on it to practice religious rituals,” Ali al-Adeeb said during a tour of the city’s projects. The governor of Karbala, Amal al-Din al-Hir, who accompanied Adeeb during the tour, said that the city has turned into a workshop, where more than 900 projects are implemented.
