Wassit council allocates border area for investment

WASSIT / IraqiNews.com: The Wassit Council presented the border area in the eastern part of the province for foreign companies who desire to invest in the region, chairman of the council said on Monday. “The area belongs to the Zerbatiya crossing, 90 east of Kut, and will be given to local companies and constructors to invest it in coordination with the Wassit investment authority,” Mahmoud Abdulreda told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The area is around 50 donums and the council made certain conditions for investing it,” he added.
