Baghdad receives 20% of investment budget

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Baghdad has received 20 percent of its investment budget for the year 2010 in accordance with instructions from the Finance Ministry, an official statement said on Saturday. “The finance minister, Bayan Jabr al-Zubaydi, has stressed the need to make an optimum usage of the 2010 investment budget,” read the statement that was received by IraqiNews.com news agency. The minister has also highlighted the necessity of setting up a committee to follow up on the damages awarded to the victims of military operations and terrorist activities, according to the statement.
