KIRKUK / IraqiNews.com: Police forces returned an infant to his mother six months after he had been kidnapped in Kirkuk City, a local police chief said on Wednesday. “A woman was arrested in northwestern Kirkuk on charges of kidnapping a five-month infant, called Mohammed Hadi,” Brig. Sarhad Qader told IraqiNews.com news agency. The kidnap occurred six months ago, the official noted. “The woman has confessed to the charge during preliminary investigations,” the official added.
