Weapons cache found, explosive device defused in Ninewa

NIENWA / IraqiNews.com: Police forces on Monday found an arms cache and defused an explosive charge in two separate incidents in Ninewa, according to a local police source. “Today, an emergency police force found an arms cache in a deserted house on Halab St. (downtown Mosul),” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. The cache contained four pistols and a rifle, the source pointed out. Meanwhile, another police force has managed to defuse an explosive device connected to a mobile phone in al-Imam village, al-Qayara district (southern Mosul, according to the same source.
