Plan to protect Talafar Shiite pilgrims succeeded

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: The plan to protect Shiite pilgrims travelling from Talafar suburb to Karbala city has succeeded, a local security source from Ninewa province said on Wednesday. “Iraqi security forces were responsible for this plan,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. He said that all pilgrims reached Karbala without any security violations. “A similar plot will be employed to get the pilgrims safely home to Talafar,” the source said.
