Cabinet approves national strategy to combat corruption

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraq’s Council of Ministers approved the national strategy to combat corruption for the period 2010-2014 presented by the joint council to combat corruption in Iraq, official spokesman for the government said on Thursday. “The agreement came within the administrative reform to enhance the rule of law, develop the financial affairs management and public properties and to spread the integrity, transparency and human rights culture,” Ali al-Dabbagh said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency.
