Developing German-Kurdish relations, visas from Arbil – amb.

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: German Ambassador to Iraq, Paul Von Maltzahnon, Monday expressed his country’s support for the development of relations with Iraq’s Kurdistan region, asserting that Germany will give Kurds visas from Arbil as of next March. The ambassador said his country seeks to develop economic relations with the region and to send investors and businessmen to invest in it. The diplomat announced the launch of flights from Arbil airport to Frankfurt as well as opening the German Information Center in the region. The German ambassador expressed his pleasure at visiting and meetings with the Presidency of Kurdistan parliament and complimented the Kurdistan Parliament for their activities in passing laws and resolutions.
